The Allswell Supreme Mattress is the latest offering from Allswell. Launched in early 2018, Allswell is a new online bedding company that has gained popularity for selling hybrid mattresses at below-average price points.
This mattress is an upgraded version of the company’s other hybrid mattresses, the Allswell and the Allswell Luxe. The Allswell Supreme is 14 inches tall and features a combination of pocketed coils and memory foam with a plush Euro Top cover.
Aside from mattresses, Allswell also sells sheets, pillows, and other bedding. The company puts an emphasis on aesthetics and offers several ready-made bedroom sets that customers can buy as a package.

One of the first things people tend to notice about a mattress is how soft or firm it feels. This is known as firmness and is key to how comfortable the mattress will be. There’s no universal firmness level that works for everybody. Your preferred mattress firmness will depend on your body type and sleeping style, which will affect how you interact with the different layers of the mattress.
Some companies offer different firmness options, but most companies aim to at least offer a medium-firm option as this appeals to the majority of sleepers. Another way to describe firmness is on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the firmest. Medium-firm is usually described as a 6.5 out of 10 on this scale.
The Allswell Supreme comes in a single firmness option. This falls around a 5 out of 10 on the subjective firmness scale. The memory foam in the Allswell Supreme combines with the coils to give a unique feel to this mattress.
If you’re a lightweight sleeper, the Euro Top will prevent you from sinking into the memory foam, so this mattress may feel a little firmer than a pure foam mattress. Heavier individuals, on the other hand, will likely find the mattress on the plusher side due to the thick comfort layers.
The mattress ships to all 50 U.S. states. Currently, the Allswell Supreme mattress is only available through the Allswell website. Allswell has no brick-and-mortar stores.
The Supreme mattress stands at 14 inches tall. The quilted cover has a plush built-in Euro Top with foam padding and comes with handles for easy maneuvering.
The first comfort layer is made of memory foam that has been infused with graphite and copper gel. These help cool you down by wicking away heat.
Next is a transition layer made with two inches of Energex™ foam, a resilient foam that provides pressure relief and cradling. This foam also helps keep a neutral temperature.
The support core is made of individually wrapped coils. This layer has a reinforced Quantum Edge® with thinner-diameter coils on the edges for better edge support.
Ground shipping is free within the contiguous U.S. and $50 for Alaska and Hawaii. The Supreme is shipped as a bed-in-a-box. Orders are usually shipped within 1-2 business days and arrive another 2-7 business days later. Customers in California, Connecticut, and Rhode Island must pay an additional Mattress Recycling Fee.
To set up the mattress, place the bed on your foundation or wherever you want to set it up and use the tool included in the box to carefully slit open the plastic. Once you do this the mattress will immediately regain its full shape, although it may take up to 48 hours to fully inflate. Bear in mind it’s easier to set up the mattress with two people.
Within the contiguous U.S., White Glove delivery is available for a $99 fee and old mattress removal is available for an extra $50 on top of that. Customers can choose to waive their sleep trial to get free old mattress removal. Expedited 2-day shipping is available for $50.
The Allswell Supreme mattress comes with a 100-night sleep trial, which starts on the delivery date. If you try it out and decide not to go with the mattress, just contact Allswell and they will send someone to come pick it up. You’ll receive a full refund for the purchase price, minus any applicable shipping, White Glove delivery, mattress removal, or recycling fees. Mattresses that have been damaged or would fail to qualify for the warranty for any other reason cannot be returned under the sleep trial. Each household can take advantage of returning the mattress during the sleep trial only once a year (mattresses in unopened boxes don’t count towards this total).
Allswell provides a 10-year limited warranty for the Supreme mattress. During this time, Allswell guarantees the mattress will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This includes indentations of more than 1.5 inches but does not include normal softening of the foam or a decrease in the resilience of memory foam that doesn’t affect the pressure-relieving properties. Should your mattress qualify for the warranty, you will either receive a replacement mattress or a pro-rated refund, to be determined by Allswell.
The warranty does not extend beyond the original purchaser. Mattresses that have been abused or damaged or used with an improper base are not eligible for the warranty. The warranty is also void for mattresses that have been used with a heating pad or electric blanket. Allswell requires purchasers to use a mattress protector to prevent stains. Last but not least, make sure you don’t remove the Law Tag or lose the original invoice, as these are required to qualify for the warranty.
The customer is responsible for the shipping costs of the replacement or repair mattress.
Allswell Supreme Mattress Performance
Motion isolation refers to how much movement on one part of the mattress is felt in another part of the mattress. A mattress that isolates motion is handy when you’re sharing the bed with a restless sleeping partner, or if you stress about waking up your sleeping partner on your midnight visits to the washroom.
Coil mattresses by nature will have some motion transfer. However, the individually pocketed coils and memory foam comfort layer do an excellent job of isolating motion as much as possible.
Foam mattresses have a tendency to compress under you when you’re sitting on the edge of the bed, which can make the edge feel unstable. Edge support is especially important if you’re sharing the bed with a partner. If you feel like you’re falling off when sleeping on the edge of the bed, then your effective sleeping surface will be reduced. Edge support is also something to consider if you have trouble getting in and out of bed.
The Allswell Supreme mattress uses a Quantum Edge with higher-gauge coils around the perimeter of the bed to reinforce the edges. Most people find it’s good enough to sleep comfortably on the edge of the bed, although some sleepers find the edge support to be a little weak when sitting on the edge of the bed or climbing in and out.
Sleeping hot is a major frustration for many people, and can have a significant effect on the quality of your sleep. Plenty of individuals are hesitant to choose a memory foam mattress, as this material is known to trap heat and restrict airflow.
Because the Allswell Supreme mattress is on the softer side, you will sink in a little. This can cause some heat to be trapped. However, the Allswell Supreme sleeps relatively cool for a foam mattress.
The cover is made of breathable material. The cooling Energex foam plus the graphite and copper in the memory foam layer will help combat heat retention, and the generous airflow through the coils will also help disperse some heat.
All of the mattresses in Allswell’s current product line are made with CertiPUR-US® certified foams, which are guaranteed to be low in volatile organic compound emissions and free of ozone depleters and nasty heavy metals. Like all-foam mattresses, the Allswell Supreme might emit some off-gassing odors when you first unwrap it. The smell is nothing to worry about and should go away within a few days. It helps to let the mattress air out in a well-ventilated room.
The coils provide better support than an all-foam mattress usually would. Since they’re individually wrapped, they can provide localized support and promote proper spinal alignment. Some stomach sleepers may find the mattress allows a little too much sink, but the transition layer should provide a good cradle for most sleeping positions. Coil mattresses are usually recommended for heavyweight sleepers as they provide sturdier support.
Memory foam is famous for its ability to adapt its shape in response to pressure and heat. The memory foam comfort layer in the Allswell Supreme mattress will do a good job of conforming to your body. However, the memory foam is buried under the Euro Top. Together with the coils this helps prevent the feeling of being stuck in the bed, so you won’t get the typical “hug” feeling common to memory foam mattresses. Whether or not this is an advantage or a disadvantage is entirely up to you.
The Allswell Supreme hasn’t been around long enough to give an accurate rating of its durability. The coil support layer should give it a longer life than a mattress with a foam base.
You want a mattress with some bounce to it for sex, and the coils in the Allswell Supreme should do a good job of providing just that. You may sink a little into the plush comfort layers, but the transition foam is quite resilient and shouldn’t restrict you from moving around on top of the mattress.
The pocketed coils won’t be as noisy as a classic innerspring mattress, although you might hear some squeaking. If you’re a light sleeper, you might be better off with a foam mattress.

What Type of Sleeper is Well-Suited to an Allswell Supreme Mattress?
Side Sleepers: Of all sleeping positions, the Allswell Supreme probably works best for side sleepers. The plush Euro Top cover, memory foam comfort layer, and contouring Energex foam all do a great job of reducing pressure points in places like the hips and shoulders. Because there are so many soft foams before you get to the coils, even most heavier sleepers will find this mattress comfortable for sleeping on your side. The pocketed coils underneath will provide structure without digging in and causing uncomfortable pressure points.
Back Sleepers: The Supreme mattress is fine for back sleepers. The soft foams will provide pressure relief under the hips, and the coils will provide support for the spine. Heavier individuals may find the mattress a little soft.
Stomach Sleepers: Lightweight sleepers will likely find that the Euro Top cover provides a good sleeping surface for sleeping on the stomach. Average-weight and heavyweight sleepers might find the mattress a little soft. This can cause the hips to sink into the mattress, which is not optimal for spinal alignment.

Reputation: Allswell hasn’t been around long enough to have established a very solid reputation. Socially conscious consumers might avoid the brand for its affiliation with Walmart.
BBB Rating: Allswell is not yet BBB accredited. Walmart has an A+ rating and has been accredited since 2014.
Years in Business: Allswell was founded in 2018. It is owned by Walmart.
Physical Stores: Allswell does not currently operate any brick-and-mortar stores. Since it belongs to Walmart, there is a chance the mattresses will eventually become available for purchase in Walmart stores.
The Allswell Supreme mattress is an attractive choice for sleepers who value the pressure-reducing qualities of memory foam but like the bounce of a mattress with coils. Like the other Allswell mattresses, the Allswell Supreme offers great bang for your buck.
This mattress has a good balance of contouring and support. The comfort layers are plush and comfortable but resilient enough so that you don’t feel stuck in the bed, making it popular with side sleepers.
As would be expected, the coils in the Allswell Supreme mattress provides the right amount of support and durability for heavyweight sleepers. Couples will appreciate the enhanced edge support and limited motion transfer, which make it easy to share the bed with a sleeping partner.
The Allswell Supreme queen mattress is one of the cheapest hybrid bed-in-a-box mattresses you’ll find. If you’re in the market for an all-round mattress at an affordable price, the Allswell Supreme is worth considering.
