The Luxi 3-in-1 Adjustable mattress is unique in that its four layers can be rearranged to result in different firmness settings. Luxi 3-in-1 Adjustable Mattress Performance
The extent to which the Lexi 3-in-1 Adjustable isolates motion depends on how its layers are arranged. In general, each of the foam layers does a fair job trapping motion and keeping it from transferring across the bed. The Luxi is most effective at motion isolation when the memory foam layer is placed on top.
The Luxi offers little edge support – a common problem with foam mattresses. Because the perimeter of the foam layers is not reinforced, sagging around the edges will likely occur.
How much heat the Lexi 3-in-1 Adjustable retains is again dependent on how its layers are arranged. Foam is notorious for trapping heat and sleeping hot. But the Luxi’s SBT technology allows for much more airflow than the typical foam layer and helps keep the mattress cool. Customers who find the mattress too warm can try putting this layer on top to cool things down.
Most all compressed mattresses will release a temporary odor when first removed from their packaging. The Luxi’s odor will clear out within a day or two.
The Luxi’s individual foam and latex layers are each designed to provide support proportional to the pressure that is applied to them. And easy modifications allow sleepers to choose which layer arrangement provides the proper support for them. The bed’s exact response will depend on how you chose to arrange the layers, but both latex and foam are known to provide solid support and pressure point relief.
Sleepers can arrange the Luxi’s layers to get their own optimal level of conforming. Each of the different layers conform to a different degree, giving customers several options. You’ll find the most contouring properties in the bed’s two memory foam layers.
The Lexi 3-in-1 Adjustable has not been available long enough to adequately evaluate how it will perform long-term. But the bed appears to be on-par with other foam mattresses, which tend to hold up well.
Foam beds tend to restrict movement and could therefore hamper sexual activity. Customers who have this problem with the Luxi can arrange the Dunlop latex layer on top, as this is the most responsive layer of the bed.
